Needing to catch up!

Ok...this is to get us all caught up to today!  Finally!  Things are happening fast and we are busy.  :)

Just want you all to see how much Micah has grown, and how cute he is!

And how happy!  He's pretty much like this at all times.  Rarely he'll let us know he's annoyed, but it is so short-lived, and a quick snuggle does the trick.  AND?  He sleeps through the night 95% of the time!  Its amazing!  He goes to sleep in his crib at 9 pm and sleeps until 6:30 or 7 am!!!!

"Hurricane Isaac" was a hit in our house.  (It ended up being a NOTHING storm to us in Venice!)  But needless to say, Isaac loved the attention he was getting all over the TV.  We snapped this pic at nana's house just to capture my own hurricane with the televised one.

Micah's first boat trip!  The Chase Fam took us out on the boat, and check out Micah!  He loved it.  We were out ALL day, and he never made a peep.  The warm water, the fresh (hot) breeze, and being held, made him sleep the whole day away!  What a life.

"Beggar" the Dolphin!  We meet again!
****Since taking this picture, a sad thing has happened.  This past Friday, they found Beggar dead.  He has been in the same intercoastal waterway for 20 years, but eventually, all the humans who fed him (bad!) led to his early passing.  They found food in his belly that dolphins would never usually eat, and also some fishing gear.  It was a sad day in Venice, since he's such an icon for boaters.  RIP Beggar!  We're so glad we got to visit with you!*****

These two just crack me up.  You'll see another cute one of Isaac's girl, Allison, coming up.  :)

Isaac helps Micah with "tummy time".  If Isaac does it with him, then Micah lasts much longer.  Also, Isaac is determined to teach Micah to log roll.

I was making breakfast one morning and this was Isaac's way of keeping Micah happy.  I'm not kidding you, Micah LOVES his big brother!  And Isaac is such a sweet brother to his baby.  I'm a very lucky mama.

My girlfriend Colette had a big birthday this past week!  Her hubby rented out a gorgeous beach house on Palm Island (one of the barrier islands) and he invited us to come stay the night and spend the day out on the beach.  It is a remote little island, no stores, you drive around in a golf cart, etc....It was beautiful, fun, and we will be doing it again!  The hammock on the porch was the highlight for these 2.  They spent a ton of time in it, just swinging, hiding, and giggling.....We love our Alli!
The back yard dock.  All the kids were fishing, except for Isaac and Allison, they just explored.  (There were 4 or 5 couples and 7 - 9 kids that overlapped.  Fun, fun!)

Tired after swimming.

Micah's new move!  He wants to sit up so badly!  He'll hold this position for so long that we joke he's doing his "Pilates" work-out, going for his abs of steel.  Funny baby!  You're only 4 1/2 months!!!

OK:  Here are the boys STATS:

Isaac:  4 years old:  38 pounds (62 percentile)  40 1/4 inches tall (42 percentile)

Micah:  4 months old:  15.8 pounds (80 percentile)  26 inches (93 percentile)

Both boys:  healthy, happy, amazing!  We're blessed!
