The Richards: Isaac is THREEEEEEEEEEEE!

I can't believe this baby of mine is 3. No longer a baby! But here's the run-down on his life:

Isaac has 2 moods - he's either really happy or just plain angry. He likes what he likes and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. He's NOT a follower, but not sure if he's a leader yet. Although he is very social. He loves attention, to "perform" in "concerts" or on "stage". He has perfected his bow after each show he puts on. He loves to be included in conversations, no matter how old the people are who are in them. He loves babies and other kids, but mostly loves to hang around big boys (elementary age). He still has a huge love of trucks, cars, anything with wheels. He knows John Deere like the back of his hand. Hence the bike below that magically appeared in our driveway from his Grandparents in Indiana!

Isaac likes to be outside. He loves to read and/or play games and watch movies (but prefers instructional DVD's on Farming, Construction, etc...) He loves to cook, swim, bike. He's NOT a big fan of art projects. Loves to trace and learn to write, but true art is about a 5 minute gig. He knows all his shapes, colors, numbers, and most of his letters. He's beginning to write. He can count and add to 24, but working on subtraction. He can play the scales on the piano and tell you which notes they are, but he now prefers to play the guitar or the drum. But always dances and sings along.

Isaac loves to push limits and test patience. But he has a huge heart and is very sensitive. He is showing empathy and concern for others. He is excited when we make plans to spend time with other people, but is just as excited to "snuggle" with mama and/or papa on the sofa. He's still very affectionate, and he still likes to party all night instead of sleep.

He's a great boy. We are truly blessed that he's ours, and tired, and happy. He constantly makes us laugh with his God-given comedic timing, and we have way more fun with him than we ever thought possible. Happy 4th year little man!
